2017 Miss Heart of the Ozarks Outstanding Teen ~ Sara Gardner
To compete as a teen you must:
Be between the ages of 13-17 by the start of the pageant. No more than a Junior classification in high school unless you are a 16 year old or younger Senior and won’t turn 17 until after the last Miss Arkansas Outstanding Teen preliminary is held. In this instance, you are not eligible for the Miss Arkansas division and can continue as a Teen for one more year.
Be a United States citizen.
Must be a born female, single, never married, and have never conceived a child and be of good character.

Meet character criteria as set forth by the Miss America's Outstanding Teen Organization.
Be in reasonably good health to meet the job requirements.
Be able to meet the time commitment and job responsibilities as set forth by the local program in which you compete.
